Organ Donor 器官捐贈

領取或換新美國駕照時, 都會被問到是否要註明器官捐贈, 若要, 則駕照背面會有器官捐贈字樣, 以便警護人員能在判定腦死時, 立刻取出器官.


由於腦死時, 人體內氣血仍在循環, 否則器官就不能用了. 因此從宗教立場而言, 器官其實是在仍活著時取出 (雖經判定腦死), 因此執著肉體, 不肯離開的靈魂, 會感到非常痛苦, 可能因此而生憤恨之心, 阻礙修行超脫.


數十年前簽下不急救, 不插管, 器官捐贈同意書時, 並非基於任何高超情操, 或宗教信仰, 而儘為了自身考量, 求一好死.


因為要捐贈器官, 知道這一身所有, 皆非屬於自己, 只是代人保管一陣子而已, 因此日常生活儘量保持健康,  平靜簡單,  , 危險的事不做, 是非之地不涉, 並設法練習臨終時能咻一聲, 儘快脫離肉體, 避免支離破碎的橫死, 最好能自然老死, 壽終正寢.


既然每個人終歸一死, 不如求個好死, 並把不用的器官, 給能用的人繼續健康快樂的活著, 學習求死,  其實正是積極學習如何好好活著. 能好好活著的人, 才會有個好死

The Small Town 小鎮風光



The small town where I live has only one disadvantage but many advantages. 


The disadvantage is being a very small farming town, there are no business stores and medical facilities, which makes it difficult for the inhabitants. 


However, one advantage is the weather in the area. It is usually cool, and lots of rain in the Winter and Spring. 







Another advantage is the clean water and air. 


Although the animals number more than human populations, especially on the road I live, the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. 


The best advantage to live in this town is the natural beauty. 


Woods, hiking paths, waterfalls and Wild Animal Safari provide visitors and residents great opportunity to learn from Mother Nature, and if they get bored, there are always wild turkeys walking on the road and cackling for anyone to hear.
